The broken road…

What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now.” ~ Unknown

Indeed at this very moment, I am happy. Full of what I believe is exactly where I am supposed to be. But to say the road to here, this place right now, has not been full of twists and turns, happy and sad, confusing and clear would be untrue.  Well before my minis came to be, there was a different life. A life that was full of the promise of minis, love and forever happiness.

Even today, I am not entirely sure where that road forked and I decided to take a new route. But today, in the best place to explore this moment, this fork, I am visiting with my friend Rene’e at “Lessons from Teachers and Twits” where I share part of that fork. Part of that moment that put me on this yellow brick road.  Certainly it has not always been shiny and golden, but without seeing some tarnish and feeling some heartache I would not truly understand the overwhelming love and opportunity that sleeps next to me and in the rooms beside mine.

Today, I go beyond the present and look to the past. To my first marriage, to the end of that time and to the lessons learned in a very difficult part of my life.

I invite you to join me, and learn more about my friend Rene’e as you have before when we did a “Mynewfavoriteweek’ly Inspiration” series interview with her a few months ago. She is full of light and love and keeps me smiling. So today I am so grateful to be with her and sharing my story. I hope you will come over and say hello, and leave word if anything inspires you. The chance to take or not.  To see the signs or not. Have you taken a chance in life that was difficult?  If so, please come share!

Have a great weekend everyone, and I hope that even if your own road has been broken, you feel that where you are today is exactly where you are meant to be.
