I *adore* your illustration and quote above, primarily because this was one of the pieces of advice my beloved, brilliant mama often gave to me. Another piece from a far-better known yet also brilliant figure is Winston Churchill who said, “Never, never, never, never give up.” My own snarky addition to all of this is adapted from the dad of a high school friend who would try to cheer friends up but kept his own pragmatism firmly on display by saying, “When one door closes, another door opens. Until then, it’s hell in the hallway.” And that’s about enough!
